First Baptist Church is a community of believers of all ages and stages of life — from young adults to growing families to senior adults. There’s something for everyone here.

Our Mission
The mission of First Baptist is to maintain the worship of God, to study and practice the Christian life as found in the Scriptures; to seek to bring to bear upon the life of our society the teaching of Jesus, the Christ; and to promote and advance the kingdom of God throughout the earth.

Our Vision
Led by God’s Word, Jesus’ teachings and example, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we commit to actively share God’s unconditional love for one another, based on our personal experience with God, and faith in His unconditional love.

Our Purpose
Unified by the grace of God in Christian experience, we declare our purpose as a body of baptized believers to be:

The maintenance of the worship of God.
The study and practice of the Christian life as found in the Scriptures.
To seek to bring to bear upon the life of our society the teachings of Jesus, the Christ.
To promote and advance the Kingdom of God throughout the earth.
