The Indiana Law Enforcement and Fire Fighters Memorial is a public artwork and memorial in Indianapolis dedicated to law enforcement officers and firefighters from Indiana who lost their lives in the line of duty.
Dedicated two days before the World Police and Fire Games in 2001, this memorial honors more than 600 Indiana policemen and firefighters. It is located east of the Indiana Government Center, and family members and co-workers often stop by to pay their respects to the memories of loved ones.
On Sept. 7, 2023, the Professional Fire Fighters Union of Indiana enshrined 12 new names of those whose lives ended while fulfilling their duty.
